Let’s go over common Linux hardening techniques to cover the basics: hardening kernel, filesystem, users, network access, and common applications. Why basics? Because we will skip AppArmor, SELinux and other advanced techniques, which are there to prevent issues when basics fail.

The talk will be given by Jernej Porenta who works as a cloud systems architect at 3FS. With a system administration background, he is now focusing on cloud-native technologies with Linux behind the scenes. He exhibits keen enthusiasm for optimizing and accelerating CI/CD pipelines.
