At the Computer History Museum Slovenia, we collect and preserve digital heritage for future generations, with your help!
If you have an interesting item you’d like to donate, please contact us first at info@racunalniski-muzej.si
Attach photos and a description of the item’s condition, and we’ll then decide if we’d like to include it in our collection.
The museum operates through the dedication of volunteers who give their free time to support our activities. All resources are allocated to operational costs and project implementation, so we accept items solely as donations.
Upon donation, we’ll sign a two-copy intake document that fully transfers ownership and usage rights of the item to the Computer History Museum Slovenia. Unfortunately, we do not offer custom agreements.
We’d love to hear the story behind your item and its use. Your name will be publicly displayed in our online inventory, museum materials, and exhibitions. If you prefer, you can remain anonymous.
Each new exhibit is cleaned, entered into the inventory, and securely stored in our repository, where we maintain professional preservation conditions.
Items in the museum’s collection are not for sale or for loan to individuals, including their individual parts.
Less desired items or duplicates may be used for spare parts, exchanged with neighboring museums, given away for promotional purposes, or responsibly recycled.
The Computer History Museum Slovenia reserves the right to change these rules without prior notice.
